With a mid-week pair of birthdays, 4 kids under 6, the promise of "Kids Eat Free" and a first class entertainment zone for said kids, this restaurant was the family choice for some joint celebrations. We arrived by 6 and ordered 20 minutes later thinking it wouldn't be too late a night for the youngest ones...and from there the evening deteriorated consistently. Ask any man what is the greatest sin a restaurant could make and it'd probably revolve around beer and the lack there of...unfortunately this happened twice...with 2 different beers...Add in a wait of over an hour for an update to be told our order was next...to watch another couple of tables to be served...and we finally got our mea...
Went to Spurs for my son's 4th birthday as a group of 11 people.The service was very poor. It took 45 minutes before someone would come to take our food orders (it was not busy). The food was ok, it was then a task to get someone to clear our table, to order extra drinks.We then prompted them for the free desserts for the kids, which they didn't even know how many there was. I then had to prompt them for the cake to be brought out and we still waited a good 15minutes before they came out. Cake was brought, i had to go back to the kitchen area and ask for a knife and side plates.After cake waitress disappeared again,we had to look for them for the bill to be brought out. We were here last night and have to say that inItially we were taken back with the prices as it is above average for what you get! Steak and rib dishes come only with chips and onions rings, kids meal onl with chips. No wonder we are in a world of rising obesity!! All mains should come with veg or salad ESPECIALLY KIDS MEALS!Service was amazing with our waiter Dirk, he even came over to inform us his shift had ended and introduced our new waiter! After that the service wasn't as good but ok!We were a group of 10, and all very happy with out meals and had a lively time!! Playground for kids with many screens around to monitor them is great, so you can relax and enjoy yourself!!Will come back...
Ate at a 5-6 when the restaurant wasn't that busy but still waited over 40 mins for mains. Food was okay, but nothing special. Had to ask for Salt and Pepper to be brought to the table. The wait staff weren't the most efficient, and you had to ask for someone to come to the table.You pay extra for sauce to go with your steak. The play ground for kids is the best thing in the restaurant. The food is a cheap eat..

The ribs ticked all the musts including tenderness, smokiness, and seasoning. The chips had no wow, but onion rings were delicious.The dessert was so good though! It was called Dom Pedro, a very good combination of tastes, and amazing with Irish whiskey.Staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. Very good experience in WA.
Can't be sure about the steak, but the burgers were both simulatenously dripping in hot oil (burned my finger) and dry as the Nullarbor on the inside.I had a beef burger, my wife had the vege burger. I guess the only positive thing we can say is that our daughter ate free. Would want to after the disappointment that was the rest of the meal.
Took the grandkids for lunch(their choice) very poor meals.Calamari very chewy.Kids cheese burger =tough patty 1 slice of cheese not even tomato sauceThey promote kids eat for free Mon Tue but then charge for Kids drinks?Not a good lunch.
We went to Spur Currumbine last night the food was excellent but the service was very bad.Had to wait long for everything even though they where not busy.

Very nice food. Rather slow service. Takes an age to get a drink. Very expensive. Great family atmosphere. A bit americanised with the dancing staff.
Went here today for lunch , most mains 30/40 dollars for bland tasteless food . Service and venue is great but food really lets it down !
