I've never written a review about a restaurant. I've eaten and ordered food from East Cafe for many years and have always thought is really good. Today I ordered food and must admit that it was absolutely terrible. From the dumplings to the Sesamschrimp and even the dynamite roller. No one was happy and the food didn't seem to be fresh or properly cooked. We didn't finish the food and thought it was the last time we ordered food. It is horribly disappointing after all these years to see that quality decreases in this degree.
After the old owners left, they changed the chicken. The old place uses unusually high-quality white bread meat chicken. the new place uses some strange spongey artificial delicate hybrid of chicken... Try it and u will see what I mean. Also the bbq ribs are no longer good as they are used.. What a shame. That was the best in Morris County. Not anymore. Go to Hunan button in denville.
Waitress can't explain courts. Ordnete lobster cantonese, which should be 1 and 3/4 pounds lobster. Lobster meat from **** and claws seemed to have disappeared. Shells and sauce dressed the missing meat. Sesame shrimp and chicken dish was good, nothing extraordinary. After dinner served, wait the waitress never checked if anything else was needed. Service could be much better.
Don't go. BeefChowMy lunch. I have half an order. I couldn't eat. That's the food with the lid. Just TERRIBLE. Waste your hard earned money!!!! 4 or 5 times over 10 years. every time the worst as the last!!!! 3 big Yuks!!! Is that a good CHINESE FOOD PLACES in ROCKAWAY DENVILLE DOVER AREA?
