After hearing of the reputation and reading the predominantly great reviews we were so excited to eat at the East Pier but the food was so disappointing. The environment was super temperature, music, decoration, service were all cool and spot on. It was very dark, but perhaps they don 't want you to look too closely at the food..? It started well, my husband had the cullen skink which was one of the best he had tasted. I had the Vietnamese kebab which came with a huge pile of white rice, a bare kebab of well cooked cod and salmon, a cardboard tub of nuts and another of sauce. No vegetables whatsoever, the dish was so plain and boring. My husband had the sea bass which was described as whole...
