We had made reservations for 8 people two days in advance for 6:00 pm on a Saturday night. Our tables were spacious enough to comfortably seat 6 of us. Unfortunately, we were seated in a busy corner of the bar area where there was a lot of traffic. This led to a mishap where I accidentally spilled my drink all over my lap due to the lack of space on the tables. One of our guests also received his food late, after everyone else had finished their meals. However, the manager kindly deducted his meal from the bill as a gesture of goodwill. The staff was accommodating and allowed 3 of our guests to move to a nearby booth to free up some space at the tables. The food was warm, but not hot. Overal...
Previously, we usually enjoyed lunch at East Side, but our recent visit left us quite disappointed. When we were seated, the waitress brought out the homeloaf, but we found THREE black hairs on the bread, which was absolutely unacceptable. We called another server over, and she also acknowledged how unsightly it was and took it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was no apology or follow-up from a manager to check on our meals.
When our food arrived, it was bland, flavorless pizza and a doughy calzone. There was no effort to offer compensation for the unpleasant experience we had. Given this, we’ve decided not to return to East Side in the future.
As a personal support worker, I recently took some clients to dine at East Sides, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. I made the reservation over the phone, and our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She was incredibly accommodating, even rearranging tables and chairs to meet our needs. They also prepared a pureed texture meal without any fuss, which was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and understanding, happily fetching extra napkins and a spoon without any hesitation. She should be proud of her excellent service, and I hope she continues to deliver such great customer care!
Not only did Kajal enhance our entire experience, but the food was also delicious. Our tasty pizza was even brought out by the manager, who was equally welcoming and eager to share how I could give Kajal the recognition she deserves! Even today, my fiancée mentioned wanting to return just for Kajal's outstanding service. We don’t dine out often since I prefer to stay home most nights due to my work in the service industry.
Thank you once again for making our visit so memorable. As I mentioned, I don't write reviews often, but Kajal truly deserves this recognition 1000%! Great job, East Side Mario’s Brantford!

I had a reservation for a party of 10 at this restaurant. When we arrived, they pushed two small tables together. We were lucky that two people couldn't make it, as there wouldn't have been enough room for them to eat. The hostess seemed indifferent, the food was good, and the waiter was excellent. However, the restaurant seemed very disorganized. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks, and when our salads arrived, there were no forks. We had to ask for forks three times. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to East Side Mario's.
They really need to turn on the air conditioning; it was uncomfortably hot in there. I had dinner tonight with my family and small children, and we almost left because it was nearly unbearable. I feel bad for anyone with respiratory issues or elderly individuals who would like to visit this place. I strongly encourage them to address this issue. They are probably losing more in sales than it would cost to run the air conditioning. I love East Sides, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning!
I had dinner with a friend tonight, and it was an excellent experience. Our food was fantastic, and we were fortunate to have the best waitress! Lauren provided outstanding service and offered great drink recommendations. She's truly talented at what she does, and we would definitely love to have her as our server again!
Eight of us dined together at this restaurant. We were seated in the center of the dining room, but unfortunately, my elderly parents were feeling very cold whenever the door opened. The server and manager were fantastic in promptly accommodating our request to move to a warmer spot.

Amara was our server tonight. She was very pleasant and helpful with all my questions. Finally nice to see happy people serving once again. She was an amazing server and I would definitely come again just because of her!! 5 stars!!
Didn't feel like we were social distanced. Service was horrible ... we had to ask numerous times for dirty dishes to be removed....one dish was way behind all others arriving to table. Drinks refills had to requested a few times.
