Our dining experience here was not the best. While it is generally a great restaurant, this time we encountered some issues. We enjoyed the bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer, but there was an overwhelming amount of BBQ sauce this time which overpowered the delicious flavor. In the past, the sauce was more of a glaze and we will be sure to request that next time. My husband had the lobster dish with creamy spinach, both of which were excellent. I had the tuna dish again, which was also great. My friends and I recently went to Eddie Merlot's for dinner and drinks to celebrate a friend's birthday at One Loudoun. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the hotel we stayed at (Tru by Hilton) and there was ample parking available even if we had driven. We had made reservations and were seated promptly when we arrived 15 minutes early. The table setting was a bit extravagant, but it added to the upscale ambiance of the restaurant. This was our first time in this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was amazing. Our server Sasha was the best. She is very knowledgeable about food and has an amazing personality. Our favorite dish is the Filet Mignon Potstickers. So delicious. I can't wait to try it again. The Barry White Martini was also great. My husband got the Bison seal and loved him. I ordered the bourbon and the brown sugar tip. While I didn't get right, the way they treated the situation was great. I give them 5 stars because everything was amazing. Since she treats the mistake with my dish very well and give me a cup of soup while I was waiting that I can't fool her. I can't wait to come back.
My family surprised me with a birthday dinner in this beautiful restaurant. We were just in time for the Steaks Around the World Special. I had Argentina, which was amazing. We started with the sweet and spicy shrimps and a dozen oysters. I also enjoyed the appetizers and bread. Meg our server was brilliant and the manager Whitley from Boston even stopped and wanted me a good birthday. If you can save space for dessert as the crème brulee was brilliant! Great food and excellent service. We will definitely be back and look forward to the Boston site as well. The Steaks Around the World is available until the end of the month.

Had a nice dinner in the bar area of Eddie Merlots. It has a nice ambiance and with live music from a combo, created a great energy. We usually elect to sit in the main dining room and it allows for quiet conversation but this was a nice change. Enjoyed some grilled oysters and selections from bar menu along with yummy cocktails. Perfect to relax on a Friday evening!
We had a gift card and decided to check it out. Food was good but WAY over priced. Maybe this is really the MP, but Alaskan king crab legs were $135, double what we expected. Overall it's a nice place but too stuffy for our taste.
Food service were outstanding. We both had filets that were cooked to perfection. It was a lovely evening.
