it was nice to be there this afternoon until 15.00. we made a booking yesterday (in person) and today we received a confirmation text at 12 o'clock. at the arrival we were told that we had no booking and we pushed the possibility of 2 tables around the corner. When we insisted that we had a booking, we were told that it was the fault of the morning shift! When we said that wasn't our fault, we said it wasn't his fault either. Despite our booking confirmation, he (the employee- cannot really call him a gas worker, since he clearly has no idea what gastfreundschaft it means customer service) still insisted that we had no booking. then “founded” a table and gesticulated in the general direction...
I have been to Edgar's Inn on a few occasions now - mostly when I have been with my dog who I have been trying to socialise after rescuing him. Normally the guys who work on the coffee machine are very accommodating and let me order my take away coffee at the window despite the sign asking people to order inside as I have explained to them I am with my dog and I can't tie him up because he is very anxious and a little bit frightened. However I have not received the same kind reception from the female who works there who rudely dismissed me today and told me to tie him up and order inside or she won't serve me - thanks for the terrible service and pathetic attitude. Came to Edgar's pub for a quick lunch. I ordered their herb chicken pasta with sun dried tomatoes and pine nuts and creamy pesto sauce from the blackboard specials and also ordered a James Squire cider. You can eat either inside which has a nice feel or outside which is covered and has heaters for those cool days. The flavour of my pasta was perfect 10/10, absolutely delicious, however, the portion was a bit on the small size or the price was a bit on the high side. People next to me had a variety of dishes and each looked fantastic. Great place to enjoy a few cold beers to finish off the working week.
The number of reservations Edgar's is taking is getting out of control; it's now become impossible for me to wander down for a casual drink as almost all tables at any one time are reserved for pairs and small groups. Additionally they hold the bookings for up to half an hour, meaning there are often empty tables everywhere and customers wanting to sit but not allowed to. It's a super terrible system for a small local pub; bookings for more than six people make sense but holding small bookings turns both me and my group of friends off even coming to Edgar's anymore.

We came here to meet some of my nephews co workers and friends. Sat outside in the plastic covered "tents" that have heaters. Very cozy atmosphere. Walk up orders at the bar and then waitress serves it to you. Little disappointed that they were out of Buffalo Wings last night but the Steak and Chips Tuesday night special for $15 was very good. Wines from $8/glass and beers from $9/glass. Very nice atmosphere. Would come back if I lived here. Located in a nicely done local strip mall.
Underwhelming, over priced food that presents a large disappointment given the high price. North of $20 for a burger is a big ask and this one certainly fails to impress. Long wait times, edgy staff and bad acoustics make for a somewhat stressful dining experience. Stick to the outside covered benches and the shoestring fries to whet the appetite.
Adorable little local pub in what appears to be a very residential area. This place was suggested to us to visit while on a trip to Canberra and when driving towards the place thought we'd gotten the wrong directions. Cosy family ambience with possibly the best hot wings I've ever tasted!
Despite the relative quiet, in the time it took to get one of many staff to take an order at the bar, we were informed that the kitchen had closed while we waited. It was an obnoxious experience at what has previously been a local favourite. ????

Good value local pub, recommend going on Monday- Wednesday for a good value meal. Nice selection of beer and friendly staff. Can get very busy but they pump out the food fast
Edgar's is a great place for an early morning coffee, sunny lunch or a Friday drink! Always friendly smiles behind the bar. Excellent wine list.
