It was disappointing to have booked a table at 5.30 to be told when I arrived with two grandchildren to have tea before a visit to the theatre royal that can I order quickly as the chef was closing at 5.45! I questioned why they took a booking at 5.30 if chef was finishing at 5.45. Waitress was nice and said no need to hurry after. The cleaning bucket was near us which was being used which wasn’t very nice. And although she said not to rush I was aware that We were the only ones there so felt a bit hurried and didn’t feel comfortable ordering a desert. Milk shakes were lush. Food was nice. Waitress was very nice also. My fault I guess, should have looked at what time they closed.
