This place is fantastic! Everything we’ve had from here is dynamite. The chelamarones are deliciously spiced shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon. The El Cazador sampler, is an array of fried burritos, nachos, quesadillas and pure flavor explosion. My son’s favorite dish is the Del Mar Special. It’s scallops, shrimp, crab, and tilapia in a sauce that is so cheesy and rich. My favorite is the chicken soft tacos, on flour tortillas. They have an amazing spicy sauce that really brings the heat. Also don’t forget to try the queso with chorizo it’s a must have. The chille relleno’s are fabulous too, and they’re really big. This place is definitely priced perfectly for all.
Loved the decor at this place! So colorful and festive. The food was good and staff was attentive. I could tell the owner (or manager, but he seemed like the owner) was training/coaching some of the wait staff. He made sure everything kept moving in the right direction. That level of involvement means he cares about his restaurant.If you're up for Mexican, definitely worth a try. I'm sure you'll be glad you did as I was.
I took my son to the West Street location for his birthday, a tradition we’ve enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, the staff let us down by informing us at the last minute that they wouldn't be singing for his birthday. It really upset him. We left without tipping on our $140 bill. As a group of five, we won’t be returning. We should have gone with La Cherrada instead, which is much more family-friendly.
We've been here before and was excellent. We ordered tonight to go and the price seemed way higher, less food and food all taste burnt. The refried beans, rice and my steak for fajitas was one huge chunk. I had to come home and cut it up to use the 3 fajitas. Won't recommend or go again

I visited for Mother's Day and had a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. I definitely plan to return. I've been sharing the experience with my friends, especially raving about the amazing peach margarita I had. It was awesome!
The best in Lima. The owner and the staff take great care of the customers. The food is authentic and reasonably priced. I have tried all of the Mexican restaurants and this one is absolutely amazing.
Just passing thru the area, stopped in late lunch. Enchiladas and tacos very good. The restaurant and bathrooms very clean!!
Best Mexican place in town. Lovely people. Get you a Fajipina and a magarita with a sugar rim. Dont forget the xangos
