This is family owned, and the dish and my date reflect the homemade taste. The food was alright, it certainly wasn’t authentic Mexican, I would say this is your standard American Mexican restaurant. If you’re looking for some basic beans, rice, salsa, and meat type food, this is a good place to go. The staff were friendly, and it had a good rustic atmosphere.

My family and I were treated incredibly poorly by an older lady who appeared to be the restaurant owner or the manager. Such a bummer, this used to be a go-to spot for us since we live nearby. I won’t spend another penny here and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped here on our way home from Rosarito. It was authentic and delicious!I got the albóndigas with a michilada. Chefs kissIf I lived closer I’d be a regular!
