El Mirador Catering Hall is a stunning venue! From the very beginning, the manager was wonderful to work with—both easygoing and professional—making us and our entire group feel warmly welcomed. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how much interaction there is with the venue beforehand, and he was genuinely the nicest person to collaborate with. AWFUL LOCATION! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If I could give zero stars, I would. Normally, I'm not one to leave reviews no matter how bad a place is, but this venue treated my family and me horribly. The owner doesn’t care about his customers at all. He’s terrible at running his business—quotes one price and then keeps raising it. Make sure you see the veniew in person before you pay. We did a party recently. There are two rooms the big one which is the one that is highlighted in the promo and a small room that looks nothing like what they show in the promo. We were very disappointed with how the placed looked. It was very small. It's supposed to fit 70 people but very tight.It's not appropriate for an elegant event. I think they charged too much for what we received. The chair covers where not in good condition . Definitely not a place to host a party. The hall is in poor condition, with holes and cracks all over the floor. The chair covers were dirty and damaged. The place smelled strongly of tobacco. I held my son's first birthday party here, and the owner overcharged for a hall that is not worth it. He makes everything look great in photos, but in reality, it’s a completely different story. DO NOT book the “robot” entertainment he offers — he promised an hour but only showed up for 30 minutes, claiming the other 30 minutes were for setup, which is not my problem. Frank was eating while trying to talk to me, which felt very unprofessional, especially when he called me "baby." I have serious doubts about their choice of caterers and would advise anyone to be cautious. Their cleanliness standards are concerning.
Frank had initially promised to show me the hall, but when I arrived after a 20-minute drive, he refused to take me there because of the rain. It left me confused about why I was asked to come to his office if he had no intention of showing me the venue. Overall, I really don't understand how they manage to rent this place out; it was by far the worst service I've ever experienced.
Awful service! The food is not served at the promised time, and there's no refrigerator available. You have to bring your own containers to chill the soda and beer. Additionally, there aren't enough bathrooms for the customers. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
I really love this restaurant! The prices are great, the food is fresh, and the service is excellent.
