This year, for my child’s birthday, I went in with a plan. Knowing how the cake had been last time, I intended to cut from the center first to ensure that we’d actually get some of the moist cake this time. To my dismay, it was just as dry as before. We spent $120 on a full sheet tres leches cake and only managed to get about five pieces that were properly saturated, with another five that had just a hint of moisture.
To make matters worse, we requested a birthday cake decorated in blue and green with "Happy Birthday kid1 and kid2" written on it. Instead, we received a cake that was simply split in half with blue on one side and green on the other, featuring poorly written "Happy Birthday k...
This is my go-to panaderia since there aren't many others that are good. The pastries are pretty big and very well-priced. They are flavorful, soft and fluffy. It seems though as if a tablespoon of sugar was dumped on some pastries which is not needed as they're already sweet enough. I just end up trying to take it off but I wish they didn't do that. The service is not the greatest. I've been to both locations and they do not acknowledge you only to tell you the total. Bread: 8/10Service: 4/10
The tamales are bomb. Rich in meat and flavor. For Christmas, we order tamales from El Molino de Oro and they did not disappoint. They even give you salsa the árbol on the side if you like them a little spicier. Is way better than making them. From now on I will only buy from this local place instead of going through the hassle of making them. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
This mom&pop Latin bakery has a good selection of pastries, however unless you speak some Spanish, it may be quite intimidating going inside. Each time I've visited this establishment, I hope and pray that someone will understand my questions in English. LOL The pork tamales are also yummy. I'll be returning to select more savory options to try.

If you are looking for some amazing tasting bread, then look no further. So many times Panaderias will have their bread tasting too much like eggs, or with a bit of a funk from the lard. However this bakery does things right and I make the 1 hour trip just to get some pan . So stop thinking about it and come through. You won 't regret it.
This is a delightful Mexican bakery that makes excellent bolillos. Everything is fresh and prepared to order. I tried a breakfast bolillo filled with egg, cheese, and beans, and it was really delicious. The pan dulce is great as well!
Have had good experiences until today, I was about to eat a piece of their cake when I noticed some weird stuff on it and started to inspect the slice, to my surprised it was a SPOILED cake with MOLD!
Great place to find fresh made Mexican sweet bread, birthday cakes, tamales , coffee and many other great meals for breakfast items. Highly recommend this place
