I tried to call in an order, but when someone answered the phone and said "hola," they just placed it down on the counter. I waited several minutes, but no one picked it back up. So, I decided to drive in and place my order at the bar while enjoying a margarita. Unfortunately, it took much longer than expected. I noticed several tables that arrived after me received their food before my order was ready. The food was good, as always, but the service was definitely lacking.
UPDATE: They were slow but the service was great. Place looks Shiney new too! OLD:When they are busy the service is great . When they are slow you may as well not exist.tbey walk by you without checking on drinks, chips, etc. We have had great service here many times but when you they are slow they do side work without periodically checking in on their table.
Not every El Nopal has the mezcal margarita on the menu, but this one does, and it is delicious! Have been to this location several times and everything has always been great. I tend to order the chiles rellenos, huevos rancheros, or fajitas.
Wow where to start A very large cold brew on-tap, followed by chips, n cheese dip, then the most gratifying tacos this side of the river. Yes I was satisfied, and not too expensive for Taco Tuesday! Book a table now
it's El Nopal what can you say if you like their menu and their food this is your place. I find the one thing you can count on they are never changing no mater what location you go to.
Solid food huge portions. Always a good time. Can't beat tortilla chips,salsa, cold Mexican beer!
I had a pork taco and a 32 Oz dos Equis beer or was a favorite place I've been lots of times
