This place is bomb. They recently redone the outside advertisement, so looks like a good little shop now before I would call it a hole in the wall but now it's a business lol JK.And I'll truthfulness, this place is a solid bakery, and has some good burritos. I personally like the Carnitas or carne asada here. Are used to live coming on Wednesdays because they had five dollar burritos, turns out they raise the prices to seven. I guess they have to pay for all that fancy advertisement on the storefront. But for seven bucks, still going to be the best burrito around.I would definitely recommend this place to somebody that is looking to buy some fresh bakeries or wanting some bomb burritos

El Pavo is a solid Mexican bakery. I grew up going to the bakeries with my mom and picking up a bag of conchas. Over the years, I've become quite picky with my conchas, but I've found my local bakery to pick up my favorite Mexican bread. I noticed some empanadas stuffed with either pumpkin, pineapple, or guava so I picked up the pumpkin one and found it delicious! It tasted like a pumpkin pie, so I recommend it to pumpkin lovers. Though I can't speak for the hot foods they serve there, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy some fresh baked goods!
The customer service could use some improvement. It would be helpful if staff could put down their phones and greet customers. A simple "Buen día!" or "Have a great day!" goes a long way. The Pan Dulce is delicious and everyone in my office loves it, but the burritos could use some improvement. Management should ensure that cashiers engage more with customers, acknowledging them when they arrive instead of being distracted by their phones. On the bright side, the exterior of the restaurant is beautiful!
Hello, we just had a really bad experience with your rosca de reyes, it was bought this morning by one of our colleagues here at work. The rosca was a total disaster!!! The bread was dry and really hard, it looked like it was made on Monday and we bought it today Friday. Everyone pitched in to buy it and we all were disappointed and let down. I guess this is it and we will buy it somewhere else next year. : Book a table now
The first time I was young. Stop for champurrado and bought 2 cups! Large selection of Pan Dulce and other bakery products. You can order Burritos and Tacos, empanadas, and they have several different types of meat, depending on what you want to order. Everything looked fresh and I have to come back when I'm in the area. Service and staff were friendly and fast!
My wife loves the breads at this place, but I'm not as enthusiastic. The guy at the counter is really friendly, but the woman with the heavy makeup comes across as rude and always seems to hurry you along. Next time, I think I'll just stay in the car to avoid the attitude from someone who seems like they just went a few rounds with a makeup artist.
I'm always past this place, and during the pandemic, they had lines for half the block some morning. And they used to have $5 Burrito Wednesdays. So I decided I'm gonna try her for her burritos. Let's just say it's a bakery, so you should stick to her pan and baked goods. I'll update this if I can really come back to try this.
I used to just drive past this place without noticing it. I ordered the cheese tamale along with rice and beans. The staff was very friendly. If you visit regularly, they definitely deserve a tip. Amen. Book a table now
The best bread in LA. I've been eating El Pavo bread for over 40 years and everyone I've told them about El Pavo bakery love the bread.
