FOOD TYPE Lebanese FOOD QUALITY Six of us dined here for a family celebration on a chilly midweek autumn evening in May. We ordered a variety of dishes (no banquets), including dips, salads, vegetables, an interesting spicy aged cheese dish and lamb and chicken on skewers. And for dessert, what else but our fav baklava and something new for us, knafeh, which is a cheese pastry in a syrup. What a great selection of food that was. Everything beautifully presented to the table on elegant white crockery with a couple of silver pizza stands scattered around for the bigger dishes, which gave us a bit of extra space on the table. It was all deliciously fresh and tasty, and all brimming...

El Phonecian, in the heart of Paramatta lies this Lebanese restaurant. A large restaurant space with alfresco dining as well. Great for large groups or just with friends and family. We had pickled vegetables, and dips; chilli, hummus and pita and fried pita to accompany it. All nice dips that you could mop up easily with the bread. We also had salad and some extra good falafel, followed up by chicken and vegetable skewers, served with garlic sauce. Nicely cooked and the sauce was nice and potent with the garlic flavour. Finished off with Lebanese sweets; pastries and a fruit platter. All nice food, great for sharing, being in a group we didn't have too many of the larger dishes so would be g...
Dinner here on a Saturday night is a must do! Let's put food aside and talk about the atmosphere first! Wow! A bellydance show that is very inclusive of the audience! Don't be surprised if you are chosen to come up and bellydance (you can say no so don't panic) but my favourite was when the whole restaurant was up and dancing! The food also was amazing! I ordered the chicken skewers, my friend ordered the kafta and we shared baba ghanouj and sambousik. I really have no complaints about the food. It was delicious and the skewers were a huge serving! We probably could have shared the plate easily as they came with a skewer of grilled vegetables and potato coriander. Service was exceptional and... Book a table now
Comfortable setting and attentive staff. Seafood and meat were ok but the dessert platter was amazing. Panacotta had a delicate rosewater favour. Turkish delight was light, fresh and really nice. Beautiful desserts that weren't too sweet at all.
On the expensive side for middle eastern food. I enjoyed it but the portions were more fine dining size and i think i would prefer the typical generous middle eastern ryoe of food that tou can share with everyone.
We went here for mothers day with 14 people and had a set banquet $60 pp it was very nice pleanty of food none of us could finish it. The staff were great and the premises was very clean and a nice place to sit.
Really good Lebanese food. Their vegetarian options were tasty and they had alot of choice. We had to dine inside as it was way too loud in the smoking area, but my only complaint Book a table now
Delicious, amazing food! So many flavours, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The seafood was fresh and beautifully presented. I will definitely be back :)
