Avoid this place at all cost. Unless you like getting charged 20% in taxes. I went to buy a chicken with rice and beans and was going to use my card to pay. After paying I realized the amount sounded more than what I was told. After reviewing my receipt I noticed they charged me more for the food. After bringing it to the guys attention he said because I was using my card the food is more. I told him I understand a card fee but not sure why me using a card requires an additional up charge to food. So if u use card. They charge u extra for the food, a card fee and regular taxes. Def won’t be back. Went next door Instead.
It was a great place with the chicken always fresh off the grill and the sauce bar always stocked when the owner was around. I have been a customer of this place for 11 years but since they sold the place nothing but disappointments. There are no sauces like before, the chicken is not fresh (fresh) and the season is no longer the same. This comment is not to criticize them in a bad way but rather to help them improve.
This restaurant has such a vibrant atmosphere. The service El Pollo Vagabundo is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, goes above beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options, everything we tried was delicious. Great chicken!

Very expensive. ' I ordered an asada burrito to take away and they didn 't put meat in it, just rice, beans and vegetables.
The chickens are no longer so delicious and the extra sauces are very expensive, 2 dollars and it is the small ones.
