My rating is not because of the taste of their food, rather their pricing. I have been coming here for years and yes we are seeing an inflation on everything but $16 for some chilaquiles with about 2 oz of asada? If I'm paying class B or A environmentplus good food then it wouldn't matter. I can go to Guadalajara grill for that money and enjoy a good mariachi show on top ofit. To the owner, if you're going to increase your cost because you now have a good customer base at least invest it back onyour establishment so one can actually enjoy sitting there to eat. The food at El Rancho is phenomenal! I've seen quite a few comments regarding the price increase, but it's essential to acknowledge that prices are rising everywhere. Just because it's a small establishment doesn't mean they can sidestep the need to adjust prices to remain viable. The wait is absolutely worth it for such incredibly tasty dishes! I highly recommend trying the chilaquiles with eggs and steak.
