not good. the online menu advertise sopes if I don't make it sopes on menu. flautas should be made with maistortillas. the frogs there are made with flour tortillas. I got that huh and cheese taquitos because they seemed the closest to real happy because they were made with mais tortillas, they had no taste at all. they tasted like they were from the dose, you could taste the metal. the rice was terrible tasting without a spicy and a dirty color. I'm Mexican, I've eaten my whole life good Mexican food. this place is overestimated and terrible tasting. they had good service and fast waiting staff, but what is the point of the food tastes like hustle and is not a complete menu.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the hype. I guess it is okay Mexican/Tex-Mex for a reasonable price, but nothing above average. I've given El Rio Verde a few tries and have not been impressed at all. I find their food to be bland and lacking in any sort of flavor. Their salsa is like watery tomato sauce. I have tried the famous Wet Burrito and it was unmemorable. Mushy nachos, guacamole was mostly things other than avocado. I'll pass on El Rio Verde and drive a little farther to Calaveras instead.
the atmosphere here has been casual / easy to get down. the chips and salsa were nothing special. the salsa was a little watery and had not much to do. I was then shocked to find out that the bark meats are not even on the menu. they only need to know how to order them with the waitress. the rinderfajitas were very good. they had this very authentic style and taste that they cannot find at many places. if they are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant to try, this is a good place to try.
a true diamond in the rough. great food, great service. if they want authentic Mexican cuisine from the kitchen of the grandmother, then this is definitiw the place for them. the food is quickly served so much time for a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner. the restaurant is small, but this is a real cantina style kitchen that is relaxed and pleasant. great eating, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with many parkings easy to find location makes this a certain favorite go-to Mexican cuisine Book a table now
I read the previous reviews, they are pretty apt for this place. I had 2 tacos (tongue and cheek) they tssted like street tacos, and had spinach enchiladas, idk what I was expecting but it was something more than spinach and a tortilla lol. The cheese sauce seems to be not home made.
Having lived in Tulsa for more than a quarter century, I've had my share of meals that by most accounts would fall into the Mexican food genre. Set down in front of me on technicolor Fiestaware has been everything from the cheese-doused, deep-fried chimic
Love the little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant! we always order Mexican tacos with the carne asada or crispy chicken tacos and a bowl of chicken orchard soup. it is so consistently good and purse friendly! it's my way to real tacos!
a pocket-friendly, inconceivable restaurant with quite good eating. the horchatas, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas. all were good. the wet burrito was great. if they are looking for good and cheap Mexican food, this place is for them. Book a table now
I dare you..... .... to finish the wet burrito in one sitting. I was also surprised at how good their chicken torta tasted. Another one of my go to restaurants.
