We were a party of 5 and they put us in a back room which has little or no airconditioning. It was 10 am and hot and sticky which made it difficult to enjoy our brunch. The food was pretty good and the service was outstanding! The problem is that this El Torito is OLD and needs UPDATING bad, including better airconditioning. El Torito Grill was my absolute favorite. El Torito is about quantity not quality.
good service. delicious fresh food. I am more comfortable at a table so that we sat in the bar area that was very comfortable. as there is the bar area, there are televisions, but the audio level was good, we could talk without increasing our votes. the drinks were good and the prices were reasonable as eating. next I am back from john Wayne/OC airport.
My only complain is that my reservation was for 6 people, and when we go there, they put us in a table that was put together size to seat 4 and not 6. The two guests seating in the middle had to deal with the gap between the two tables, and it was very tight. Very uncomfortable.
We had a 7pm reservation and we were seated 45min later because the kitchen was backed up according to the hostess. The manager sat other groups that had checked in after us ahead of us. Then we had to wait for a server to be available to get us waters. Book a table now
Post Covid brunch is very different. Food was adequate, but some of the prepaid items didn’t taste fresh. The service was very good which made up for the subpar food
The music was super loud so it made it hard to visit with our guests. Our order came out wrong but we didn’t want to say anything so we just ate what they brought.
Horrible service the food was dry Server kept saying we don’t have it to everything I would ask for like salsa lemon flower tortillas ect
Everything was good, just don’t go late because everything becomes rushed and you get the feeling they want you to leave Book a table now
Incredible value for the price! We enjoyed a fantastic meal, and the margaritas during happy hour were amazing!
