Telephoned take-away order through for collection and was told it would be 30 minutes. Went to the restaurant only to find that food was not ready. Finally, after 45 minutes, I was given my food. When I got home I could not believe just how poor the food, in particular the chicken biryani, looked. How any chef can send out a biryani with the chicken dry and well overcooked and the rice burnt is beyond me. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever meant it was totally bland and inedible. The vegetable curry that accompanied the dish was an insult. One piece of potato, one french bean, a few slices of carrot, three pieces of broccoli, that had clearly seen better days, and a few peas in a weak watery...
Went into this establishment to order a takeaway. Had a menu at home which offered a 10% discount on takeaways ordered and I had also downloaded the menu from their website which appears to date from 2019 so very confusing. Anyway placed my order and when it came to pay the discount had not been applied. I was told that the discount has been discontinued to avoid having to increase the prices of dishes. At no time prior to this was I told that the discount had been stopped and there were no signs explaining that displayed anywhere. The only clue is that the menus now have the discount scratched out. Amazing meal last night yet again. We are so impressed with the consistently high standard of food from Elachi. I have been eating Indian food for 40 years, and i can honestly say Elachi is my favourite. The icong on the cake is the consistent quality that lacks so much with other restaurants. Add to that great friendy accomodating service, and it really is a fine experience indeed. Well done Elachi! Keep up the awesome work!! Allan
Staff were friendly, food was fairly average. After our mains were brought out, we were told the card machine was broken so we needed to pay cash. When the bill came the total was £30 more than should have been when we brought this up the chap very quickly changed the total and gave us a lame excuse of “sorry the machine was broken that’s why the total was wrong”. Felt like they tried to swindle us. Won’t be returning.

It was my first time visiting with my sister Maddison and our boyfriends. And I can definitely say I’m very impressed with my visit, I’ve have heard a lot of great things about it from Maddison and I can say that it really did live up to its expectations. Not only was the food delicious but the staff were so kind and very welcoming. Big thank you to all of the staff and will definitely be coming back soon. Lydia.
We ordered a takeaway for 10 people on a busy Saturday night for Elachi. We requested if possible, that it would be bagged up separately per couple, (so to make it easier to sort out). Well, it arrived spot on time, separated in bags for each couple and everything was there, everything was hot and it was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Thanks Elachi, you are the best!
First visit to the Elachi restaurant on recommendation from friends. Warm welcome by friendly staff in spite of the restaurant being very busy. The menu was varied, the food we selected was absolutely delicious and the staff were very efficient. Pleasant surroundings and ambiance. All in all very enjoyable and we will definitely revisit.
Superb food, fantastic service. Had a lovely meal with my son and felt it was responsibly priced as well. Found the staff friend, will be returning.
