I ordered the honey old bay wings with 2 sides (mac n cheese, candied sweet potatoes). The wings were to die for. I really wanted to try the black gold sauce but the chef said it's spicy, so I did not get it. Honey old bay was perfect. The wings were fried to perfection. I really enjoyed the mac n cheese. It's definitely a taste of his own. The candied sweet potatoes weren't sweet enough (for me), but they did taste good. It comes with sweet potato cornbread, which I wasn't a fan of. I also ordered the red velvet cheesecake brownie. Didn't like it. Other than that very clean spot, food was ready on time, friendly owner, and tasty food.
First impression of the restaurant clean but the counter had silverware on it alot. Our food bag was also on the counter. Friendly man greeted use. We ordered pork chops,sweet potatoes and green beans we got can sweet potatoes and salty green beans and the pork chops were hard and covered with gravy that wasn't ask for. The next order was fried catfish the batter on the fish was hard and plain the fries were full of greasy oil. The cold slaw had a great taste. And the last of my 46.00 dollar order was lake trout was great the yellow rice was good.over all the food was nasty 1??
We went to this restaurant for the R&B brunch. The ambiance was lively and the DJ was great. It's also BYOB, which is a plus. The menu seemed promising and they also have other dishes that aren't listed. However, we encountered a problem with the slow service - it took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive after ordering. When it did come, some of the dishes were lukewarm. The owner kindly removed the items we had to send back from the bill.
I dined at this restaurant twice. The first time I tried the short ribs for brunch and the stuffed French toast. The French toast was delicious, but the short ribs were too salty for my taste. During my second visit, I ordered the jerk chicken with sweet potatoes, green beans, and a cup of gumbo. The food was tasty, but the coleslaw was overly salty. I plan on returning to try the pork chops and cheesecakes next time.

we waited for more than 30 minutes to eat! the cash was very rude, she snored the menu from my hand while I ordered and it was a terrible experience the tables were dirty very old! the fish was very salty over cooked! emily’s place is a totally joke! customer service and eating was the worst! this place must close down asap!
The service was good but getting my food was a little long but not over bearing a little pricey next time will order something different the fries were greasy because the fish was on top no bread the greens were good the catfish had no seasoning but I would go back again this was my first visit!
This was our first time at Emily's and it did not disappoint. I had the Turkey Wings with Yams and Greens and my wife had the Loaded Catfish with jerk sauce Mac and cheese, gumbo and rice. The food was worth every penny we spent and we will be back this weekend
I should have taken a picture of my plate before I ate it. I got the turkey wings with collard greens and green beans. WOW! Big portion sizes for a great price and the sweet potato cornbread was straight fire!!! Highly recommend.

The food was Delicious! I ordered the cat fish dinner, greens and yams as my sides. Our food came out hot. My family and I will be returning. The owner provided excellent Customer service.
