We had previously booked a wine tasting with food accompaniment in Emma 2. The wines wait very well and we have experienced many backgrounds. Although the store was very full, you took a lot of time. The food was excellent! Probably simple, but everything is very nicely dressed and of excellent quality! In Emma 2 there are only cold dishes, as one wants to stand off from the many guest rooms of the ruffles. We had Prosecco with vintage sardines in olive oil, white wine with burrata, tomatoes and olive oil, red wine with a cut roasted bread with truffle mushroom olive spread and finally white wine with cheese selection. Despite other restaurants (winebars) in this street this is the real deal - you get basic foods and down to earth tasty wines for your money! Not cheap, not expensive - but valueable to say the least! Down to earth people with great knowledge of their products! In the end one of the few desirable locations in Essen to dine and drink!

Very delicious wines and good food in a relaxed atmosphere. We were there several times last year and always very satisfied. Great place where you feel comfortable.
