I got the Italian combo for $17. I took the subway here (N train to astoria ditmars station which is the last stop, I think you can also take the W but it wasn't running when I took the subway). It is a 3min walk from the subway. Cash only!!! The people working here are absolutely delightful, very friendly and all smiles! The place is clean and unassuming! I got there around 10:30am on a weekday and there was no line. My sandwich was done in about 5 min, maybe even less. The sandwich itself is MASSIVE, you can either share or just save it for another meal. They ask if you want them to cut it in 4 pieces or just halves. I asked for 4 pieces because it is hefty and I needed both hands to grab...

Each bite features layers of salami, ham, roast beef, turkey, and a touch of pepperoni, creating a harmonious explosion of taste. Complementing this is a mix of American and Provolone cheese, along with crisp lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, all fresh and vibrant. The addition of hot and sweet peppers adds a lively kick, while mayo and mustard provide a rich creaminess. Every bite is a burst of flavor, making this sandwich a true culinary masterpiece that satisfies any appetite. Without hesitation, I award five stars to Sal, Kris Charlie's for delivering the best sandwiches around! So when hunger strikes, head to Astoria, where legends are alive. Whenever I am feeling for a sandwich, this is the place I'm thinking about going. The place is always packed with people because you are getting quality and quantity for your money. It's a meat fest lol. Be aware that they only take cash. Also, if you are ordering via Uber Eats the price for a sandwich is almost doubled. Therefore, I would suggest you ordering in person because that's outrageous. The only issue I do have is that the place where the bread is stored needs to be able to close properly. I have observed flies landing on that bread.

Not much to update here except The Bomb is now $17, but this is nothing to be mad about. You literally have at least two meals from this one sandwich. Just want to let the people know so they bring enough cash. There is the ATM on-site but I always like to be prepared. Also I should have asked the gentleman who made my sandwich his name because he made it exceptionally well this time. A big shout out goes to that whole team who bangs out those amazing sandwiches like it 's no one 's biz! Book a table now

The staffs are friendly, there was a line inside the store but it moves pretty fast. It is better than Katz in Manhattan. It is a deli with chips from Mexico. There's no place to sit. We ordered the bomb sandwich, it is better without the mustard. There is a lot of deli meat! We told them to cut in fours which they did. Would recommend coming here to try if you are in the area. First time here so we got the bomb and had it cut into 4 pieces. Make sure to eat this right away and have plenty of napkins on hand. Avoid wearing a white shirt. We ate the sandwich right away but the bread was getting soggy from all the sauces and dressing. The amount of meat is impressive but the flavors were off there was too much going on. Will come back but want to try another sandwich next time.

I tried their "The Bomb" sandwich, and at $25, it certainly lives up to the hype. It's a hearty, substantial sandwich packed with plenty of meats, cheese, and dressing. I can't comment on the rest of the menu, but this sandwich is definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
