This restaurant has been a long-time favorite of mine. I used to come here as a child, and now, after returning to the area two decades later, I still find myself dining here. The menu primarily features typical Chinese-American dishes, so as long as you keep that in mind, you won’t be surprised or disappointed. The food is quite enjoyable for what it offers. I have a special affection for it because it reminds me of my childhood, but beyond that, the value is excellent, and it’s one of the few places nearby that serves salted shrimp.
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered takeout. There wasn't enough seating for me to wait for my order, so I had to wait outside in the hallway. They called me when my order was ready, which took only about 10-15 minutes. I received generous portions of rice and orange chicken at a very reasonable price. I would have rated them higher, but I didn't receive any utensils in my bag, and I found a small pebble in my fried rice.
I ordered the Shrimp with Broccoli, Fried Rice, and an Egg Roll, and it was absolutely delicious! As a fan of garlic, I found it especially enjoyable, but I believe they can prepare the dish without garlic if you prefer. The presentation was lovely, and the service was both courteous and efficient. Additionally, the prices were very fair.
Unpleasant experience! I called to inquire whether they would be open on the holiday and, if so, what time they would close, as their holiday hours weren’t listed online. The woman who answered the phone was rude and sounded irritated by my call. We decided to look for another restaurant instead.

I grew up in Southfield, and this is the only Chinese restaurant I've ever loved. The Almond Chicken here is the best I've ever had. I truly miss this place; the food is amazing, and the cozy, dim lighting enhances its charm.
The food is outstanding! It arrived promptly after I placed my order. The portions were generous, allowing me to enjoy three meals from it. I will definitely return!
So delicious, prepared very well, and great value for the portion sizes. Restaurant was clean and the staff were fantastic. Wish we discovered this gem sooner!!!
The shrimp fried rice that I purchased lacked the flavor and ingredients that I became accustomed. I had to add a scrambled egg and other flavors.
