Upon arrival, a staff member checked our QR code at the front entrance. All the staff were wearing masks properly. The atmosphere on a Friday night was decent. Orders were placed and paid for at the counter, while drinks were purchased from the bar. The food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. The halloumi entree was delicious, and the lamb shanks were incredibly tender. The chips were fantastic, but the vegetables were unfortunately soggy. The Espresso Martini was overly sweet for my taste. The restroom, which also had a nappy changing area, was not clean. Conveniently, there is free parking for two hours at Coles behind the hotel. This pub is modern and clean. It is located directly opposite the Epping metro and rail station. A note for male clientele, the door to the toilets upstairs is broken, and needs an extra push to allow access. The staff are friendly. The bar is large. On the night I attended, the bar wasn’t serving jugs of drinks, only glasses of drinks. The bistro food variety is excellent and staff deliver your food to your table. The pub has sports betting facilities and large screen TVs that show sports programming.
This is the best non Asian food in the area. Filet mignon is my favourite but all the steaks are great. The combination of good quality meat and a chef who really knows how to cook it makes the choice of any steak a good one. It's nice to actually receive vegetables that are part of the price and and which is not a garnish. In my opinion, the salad is a bit light on although it tastes great, but this is just a personal preference. The serves are very generous otherwise.
After a hard day neither myself nor my wife fancied cooking so we popped into a local pub where we had eaten before and enjoyed the fare. On this occasion I had a beef and mushroom pie with mash and veg. My wife had a half slab of pork ribs with chips and sweet corn. Both meals were terrific. My wife is difficult to please in the food department but she was full of praise here. My pie was magnificent - full of flavour and cooked to perfection.

Eat ... Drink ... Enjoy. A great little Pub at a handy location, opposite Epping Train station with parking nearby at Coles. Due to covid restrictions on seating we recommend you book or perhaps take a chance and impulsively drop in. We were lucky to snag a table for two under an open window on a balmy Sumner night. It was perfect. Almost romantic even. Staff are always friendly and we are always happy with our meals.
I give this restaurant 5 stars for their amazing food! The menu and quality of the dishes are outstanding. I was surprised by how good the food was considering it's a pub/hotel. I highly recommend this place for a meal with friends or family.
I spent far too many nights in this hotel when I was first of drinking age & still drop by from time to time but the years & a few misdirected renovations
The food is great, the prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the delivery is fast. I have no complaints at all. Thank you!

Given the bistro was empty for lunch on Jan 2nd, plus we only had a group of 8 people, our order should not have been that challenging.
Very nice hotel which has undergone plenty of renovations recently and kept at high maintenance.
