Had business in Raunds, so rang around to find somewhere with Gluten free on the menu, and struck lucky! Easy access and parking. Level floors, Decor light and airy. Nice furniture, but some dining chairs need re-springing! Eating area very clean, as were the toilets. (Hygiene rating 5) Service was attentive and very pleasant.. Lunch menu would be described as British pub style, sandwiches,etc. baked potatoes, all day breakfast, etc. We both settled on the Aberdeen Angus burger which was cooked while we waited. They arrived and looked to be 'half-pounders ', piping hot, with fat chips, onion rings, and a good amount of nice fresh salad...our plates couldnt possibly have held more! We took ad...
During our previous visit to this restaurant, we were impressed by the quality of the food and service. However, we dined there again last Wednesday while on a house hunting trip in Raunds. We were seated at 12:35 and our order was promptly taken within 5 minutes. Unfortunately, our meals did not arrive until just after 13:15, a wait of 35 minutes. Despite the waitress apologizing for the delay, it was evident from the appearance of our dishes that the meal did not meet their usual standard. My husband's pie was subpar and his potatoes were lackluster. My omelette was flat and overcooked on the outside, though the filling was decent. We had to eat quickly and leave as we had a viewing schedu...
I have visited this restaurant several times when I used to work in Raunds. It is a lovely little place with great food. I always used to order the Angus Burger, which I believe was very delicious and filling. You definitely get a lot for your money. However, the service was always a bit lacking as we never felt warmly welcomed, which was a shame considering how good the food was. Despite this, it did not deter us from coming back. It has been a while since my last visit, but I think it's time to go back soon.
I have been here numerous time with friends and it has always been excellent. The dining area is lovely for a casual or special lunch as it is very nicely furnished. The food is lovely whether you're having sandwiches, baked potatoes or one of their lovely main meals. Everyone I know really likes this place.

Me and my partner have ordered take out from here several times, one of my favourites is the full english breakfast! great variety within a delivery service. Always received within the time given on Just Eat. Will continue to order from here!
I enjoyed a delicious light lunch with two friends at this restaurant. The lunch menu was great, with nicely cooked and well-presented dishes that were hot and generous. It was definitely good value for the price.
Have visited this place twice now, last being Thursday, it's a very nice little coffee shop and restaurant set back from the high street in Raunds.. a really little gem with friendly staff and good service.
Probably one of the best breakfast's I have eaten, I am now a regular, Especially after a big night..!! Amazing value for money First class food service, Can't Recommend enough..

we wanted just a drink, but this did not mean we were treated any less graciously. Really good for a quick break, and the WCs are first-class.
