I was there with my girlfriend over the weekend. We had great days and really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpenkönig. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The customer is king is very important here. The food is a culinary highlight. And the presentation is simply wonderful as we all know, the eye eats too. The sauna area is small but nice and completely sufficient to relax after a hiking tour. We really didn't miss anything and would like to thank you again for the great three days. I had booked for 4 days but had to leave a day early because I got the news that my brother was dying. Nevertheless, I was charged for the day and I received a voucher for 1 night. A completely different price was also agreed upon, I was charged €20 more per day on the grounds that the agreed price only applies from 4 days onwards, which I had not been informed of beforehand. We usually search our restaurants with open table. Now the restaurant Esslust was the only one in Oberstaufen. We were a little sceptical first. However, that was the right decision. A great menu and excellent wines made us curious. Service and especially the food were really excellent. Absolute recommendation.

Wonderful first visit to Schnitzel Monday: Schnitzel from the finest, great potato salad and salad. Beautiful wine map and best service. We'll be back. It is also nice to book online.
In the segment you can expect much more when eating. The dishes were neither original nor particularly tasty. In an ordinary economy there would be no objection, but that's the case.
We were very accommodating and the food was sensatinell good. To the appetizer we had a forest mushroom soup, to the main course the Châteaubriand. Both highly recommended!
Were a guest on a Monday (Schnitzeltage) and were very satisfied. A very good Wienerschnitzel with parsley potatoes. Very good meat, excellent made.
