Local pequeño y pintoresco, de los que unos turistas es raro que encuentren por casualidad o buscando por Internet. Nosotros tuvimos la fortuna de acabar aquí gracias a la infinita hospitalidad de un local. Tomamos unas cervezas de barril excelentes, una rubia y otra negra, ésta última suave como ninguna otra que hubiese probado antes de jardín , decía el dueño). Para acompañar, una tapa de embutido magnífica y una buena conversación. No podríamos haber dado con un lugar ni plan mejor donde echar la tarde. Así que nada más que decir que eskerrik asko al dueño y sobre todo a nuestro guía giputxi Mikel del grupo de balentzianos un poco perdidos que aparecieron por allí durante la Semana Grande...
I should perhaps be surprised that the only other reviews of this bar are in Spanish, but when I recall my wife 's comment of but it 's just full of Spanish men when I suggested going in, then perhaps it 's not such a surprise. And that is exactly why I chose this bar. It wasn 't full of tourists and looked refreshingly ordinary. And that is what it turned out to be. This is a super pub, run by a charming man. The beer is excellent and there is a simple choice of tasty pintxos. In two visits to San Sebastián, and numerous bars sampled, this is my favourite by far.
Ok, I admit that it was only the torrential rain that drove us into Etxebe. But immediately it became our favourite bar in San Sebastián. It has the warm atmosphere of an Irish pub. The couple that run the place are delightful. It’s full of locals, many of whom look like they’ve been there for several days. When planning our trip to San Sebastián I carefully googled and listed all the best Pintxos bars. The food was great but they were all crowded and impersonal. Etxebe is the antidote to all that. We felt welcomed and relaxed, and will definitely return.
Lugar imprescindible si quieres beber cerveza como Dios manda, local con solera en San Sebastián. Un punto y a parte de los locales masificados de pintxos. Reco.endable 100€ si te gusta la cerveza con garantías. Ambiente de amigos de siempre

Excelente. Entramos por casualidad, y fue un acierto total. La comida tradicional buenísima, el txacolí increíble, y el trato de los dueños, inmejorable. Cuando volvamos a San Sebastián, parada obligatoria. Nos hemos ido encantados.
Lugar entrañable, atención agradable tanto por el personal que trabaja allí, como por los clientes asiduos. Fuimos de paso, sin conocerlo y nos encantó; además buen tapeo y bebidas para acompañar ideales
Cervecería auténtica en el barrio viejo. El dueño muy atento y preocupado porque disfrutes de tu consumición. Experto en vinos y cervezas. Lugar pintoresco y con encanto. Una maravilla.
La mejor cervecería de Donosti. Increíble el trato de los propietarios. El local tiene una decoración única y el ambiente muy familiar.
