So you may pass Evelyn's coming into the downtown core and not really notice the small sandwich board showing the daily soup special but if you do, stop in for a sandwich. This tiny Welland staple packs a huge punch. Unlike anywhere else in Welland...you go in and are given a card, this card has bread options, cheese, options, meat options and just about anything else that goes on a sandwich. Once you've selected what you'd like the girls whip you up your custom made sandwich with excellent fresh ingredients right in front of you. By far the best lunch place in town!!
I am completely hooked on this place. The sandwiches are delicious and all the ingredients are always fresh. The women who work there are friendly and accommodating. I had to cut back on getting lunch there because I would eat one of their sandwiches every day if I could. I appreciate that I can call ahead to place my order and it's always ready for me to pick up and go. If you have a short lunch break, this is the best option as it gets crowded and the place is small. I love it.

big, fat, delicious sandwiches! the suppe has not yet tried, but I'm sure it's just as good! they choose up to 4 filling ingredients, then unlimited garnishes and then their brot. it was phenominal and hubby and I shared that sandwich it was so. everything was fresh and real meat, not her nitrate-filled delin slices. Most amazing sandwiches I’ve ever had. Great staff! Pan is wonderful, I felt like family, small storefront, minimal seating, but watching how the staff embraced a young couple and their baby as if they were family was amazing. I felt like one of the bunch!
a better soup sandwich combo you will not find in welland! fresh brote, home cooked meat, choice of toppings a soup special every day! my wife ordered the sandwich platter for her boarding sessions!
