I'm really not one to write reviews, but I feel I'm in favour of people with Celiac disease. we went specifically to vegan hippy chick because of the many number of dresses that can be made gluten free. my 8-year-old daughter has Celiac disease, so we find it difficult to dinate in restaurants because of the danger of contamination in kitchens. she was really excited and wanted to order mozzarella sticks that had the gluten-free option next to him on the menu. One of my favorite places to eat! The food is delicious and I don't mind making the 25-minute journey to come here often. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is very clean. The owner is very sweet and I always enjoy seeing her smiling face. They have regular live entertainment such as music nights, trivia, and drag shows which are fantastic. They also constantly introduce new off-menu delicious features, so there's always something new to try. They are very active on Instagram, posting updates on their hours and events. Absolutely loved everything we ordered! Great variety on the menu with large portions. Even my meat eating husband was surprised how tasty and filling the meal was. You can tell that the food was fresh and just prepared, not reheated. The space feels more like a high end bistro then a restaurant, which is so much better! I am so happy and grateful to have this amazing place so close to home and if you are in the area you should definitely give it a try!
My daughter dropped by last night and brought me an order of “fish” tacos and a Caesar salad from Vegan Hippy Chick. Everything was amazing! I’d never had heart of palm as a fish substitute before and it was soooo good. You get three of them and the “fish” portions are huge! the endless options for someone who needs to eat gluten / vegan was incredible. I have the walnut and mushroom pizza, my partner has fish and chips. both were amazing, portions are large, so they can definitely get at least 2 meal times. service was so friendly and fast. will definitely return
nothing but good things to say about this place today on Easter Sunday a meal divided. the food was excellent, the host was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was not so good. will definitely be back! I wait for the fungus reubs? and do not forget the love and compassion.
I cant believe its not meat!. I just had a pizza and the chick'n wings.. and wow. It was so so so good; i am still surprised at how tasty it was. VHC will make it so much easier for me to cut my meat consumption. This is my new treat night place to go.
