Booked here on a snowy day before Christmas so the place was pretty empty at lunch (usually packed for the sunny terrace) four/five tables occupied but still they seated everyone at tables next to each other which meant limited space for ski helmets, wet jackets etc. Why do that? Let people have their space!! We used to eat here when it was buffet lunch and I preferred it as the menu does not represent good value currently. Liked the sound of the plat du jour and it tasted ok but was honestly shocked at the pathetic portion that arrived. A child’s menu would have been larger. The food was good but at 40€ plus for a teeny bit of meat, a few nicely prepared veggies and a baby pan of mashed pot...
We had a large party booked in for lunch and chose this so the non skiers could join us. We arrived a bit early so started with a hot chocolate (which was one of the best I've had) then had drinks outside before coming back into the very traditional (in a good way) dining room for typical Savoyard fayre tartiflette, cheese boxes, cold meats etc. The lady who looked after us could not have been nicer she even stood on a chair to get a picture of our whole party for us. Sadly they don't currently do a veggie tartiflette but that's my only criticism.
If you are looking for something out of standard, please go to this exceptional place located just in front of the Mont Blanc. I took a hot chocolate and stand a couple of hours getting advantage of the fantastic scene just in front of me. It was last 25th December it will be unforgettable.
A must for a stay in Megève. Accessible to skiers like pedestrians, beautiful view of Mont Blanc and successful cuisine 33 years that I come back with pleasure (I am 35 years old, that is to say as a faithful and that I find the same person in command

Ok! The bill is expensive, highly, but the place is unique and the food is good. The wine list is pretty wide. You can profit from a unique view in front of the Mont Blanc. Service is very cool and friendly. Visiting megeve, go there
We had lunch at Face au Mont Blanc. The food was poor but the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The prices are high for the quality.

The restaurant is definitely closed and there is only one kitchen truck next to the children's playground with a view on ouf.
