The male owner displays a very unpleasant attitude. He warmly greets customers who are Jamaican but treats others with indifference. For example, one morning I asked if lunch was available during breakfast hours since the food was out and still wrapped. Rather than responding politely, he rudely yelled at me, saying, “If it wasn't available, it wouldn't be out here.” I have never felt so humiliated and embarrassed. There are many other restaurants to choose from, and I have decided not to support this one anymore.
Wow, I can't believe more people haven't reviewed this place! The food is incredible and full of flavor—everything from the fish fritters to the curry gravy is just fantastic! The staff provides excellent service, always with a smile and a warm welcome. It really feels like family here! If you're in the Fairfield/Bridgeport area, definitely stop by for some authentic Jamaican cuisine!
They provided catering for my wedding and prepared an incredible array of dishes, including cultural favorites and some off-menu options. The food was truly delicious! They are my top choice whenever I'm looking for something special that surpasses my own cooking. As a Jamaican, I can confidently say this is as authentic as it gets! It's the best Jamaican restaurant in Connecticut!
If you decide to visit this restaurant, make sure to try the fritters! I really enjoy this place because it’s rare to find a Jamaican restaurant that offers small, medium, and large portions. When I'm at work, I can’t always eat large sizes for everything.

I don't have a problem paying for what I enjoy. If the price goes up, I just want to receive exactly what I ask for! It appears to be an issue when I try to order liver on its own, as I'm always told there isn't any available!
Wow! This is my first time here, and the food is absolutely delicious. It was so good that I ended up finishing an entire large plate of oxtails. You have to give this place a try!

Family Flamez offers a fantastic menu with plenty of vegetarian options! As a vegan, I had no trouble finding delicious dishes to enjoy. I will definitely be returning for more.
