I don't understand why this restaurant is listed on Open Table. It's a place where you order at the counter and find your own table. We arrived for our reservation at 7:15 pm and were informed that they had already stopped serving customers, even though they were supposed to be open until 10 pm. They said they were too busy and couldn't accommodate any more customers. Very disappointed and will not be dining at Famous Dave's restaurants again. There are plenty of other options out there.
I called ahead to let them know we would be running about 10 minutes late, and they assured me it wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived, it only took about 3 to 5 minutes to place our order. We opted for a booth, and they provided a bucket of water with disinfectant to clean the table and seats before we sat down. Our food arrived in about 7 to 10 minutes, and it was both delicious and generous in portion. I even took my dessert home and enjoyed it that night and the next day for brunch.
Please do not continue to allow bookings for a restaurant that does not accept reservations. We reserved a table for Father's Day only to be told upon arrival that they don't accept reservations. This issue needs to be addressed immediately - either remove the location or block reservations to prevent further confusion. It is frustrating to have such a negative experience overshadow the great food and service provided.
Famous Dave’s is a staple of the Twin Cities. Great food. I’ve never had a bad meal. The service can be hit or miss when it comes to getting the order right but they’re always friendly, so just verify the order. They clean up tables quickly and the bathrooms are always clean. I have been here numerous times and will continue to return. Great place! Book a table now
Ordered rake-out Feast and it was awesome! Never disappointed with the food at Famous Daves! Service was 25 minutes behind, however everyone working there was racing around so no frustrationGreat barbecue
Food was as incredible as I remember. It arrived at our table very quickly and was hot. I enjoyed the rib tips and the beef brisket. I noticed they also offered a to-go area which was nice.
The staff here is incredibly friendly! The atmosphere is very clean and welcoming. This is hands down the best Famous Dave's I've ever visited. I will definitely make a trip back!
The food remains consistently excellent, but unfortunately, the environment is far from appealing. The interior was cold and unwelcoming. Book a table now
