Fat Cats has been around over 20 years; it’s housed in a circa 1900s house with several seating options. The menu has appetizers and entrees vegan ready and others with deliciously prepared tofu at the ready. The food is exquisitely seasoned — not too salty or oily. Portions are small; best to order appetizers if coming with a big appetite. Also make a reservation, even for weekday lunch as this place gets filled.
Great drinks and tons of vegan options. Ask for the vegan menu but also look at the regular one, as there’s sometimes vegan items on the regular that don’t get copied to the vegan (I guess they rotate the regular menu more). The banh bao are phenomenal. Good upscale bar food and a nice atmosphere. Decent Happy Hour, too! Staff is great.

this place has tons of options. I had the path mi sandwich, the tofu and a delicious sauce as well as the vegan lumps. really nice atmosphere and the personal was really friendly and helpful.
We were seated immediately, and when I asked if a dish could be made vegan, she left and got me an entire vegan menu to choose from! She even described her favorites from the menu.
A lovely restaurant in an old building. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was good. They have a good plant-based menu. I would definitely go back again.
