This was our first time dining at Fatt Rot. The food itself was reasonably good, not great but solidly good. We both had the Classic ramen. Some other things were not as good. The music blasted so loud when we came in, diner conversation would have beenimpossible. We gently asked if the music volume could be lowered and the waitress went back to ask someone, and they adjusted itby a merely a hair. We had an incredible experience visiting this restaurant to check out the renovations before our anniversary sushi lunch tomorrow. The bar is fantastic, the cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service was outstanding, and the food was delightful. We sampled dishes like Grilled Octopus with kimchi mayo and Shrimp Toast with eel sauce. The Duck Spring Rolls were packed with mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, and shallots, while the Korean Skirt Steak came with kimchi BBQ and a perfectly cooked six-minute egg. This restaurant is one of the best in the area! The menu is small but carefully curated, with changes periodically. The food is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and high-quality. The service is excellent and if something isn't to your liking, just let them know and they'll make it right. The restaurant recently underwent renovations, transforming it from a take-out spot to a cozy dinner spot with a pleasant atmosphere. They've also added a bar with amazing cocktails, sake, and other drinks. I highly recommend it! Wow, what an incredible experience we had at Fatt Root yesterday! If possible, we would give 10 stars. The food is outstanding, with impressively large and generous portions. Every dish from the menu was absolutely delicious! The duck spring rolls were the best we've ever tasted. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended! We absolutely loved it. A big thank you to the entire Fatt Root team for doing such an amazing job!

I’ve visited Fatt Root several times for lunch and enjoy many of their dishes. It’s a great fusion spot. Although there’s usually only one server handling the lunch rush, it hasn’t been a problem since I’m not in a hurry. I especially like the dandan noodles and beef noodles. I tried the bahmi once and wouldn’t recommend it—the bread was too hard and the meat was just okay. However, the rice bowls, noodles, and appetizers have all been consistently good.
Consistently excellent and delicious, Fatt Root is a must-visit noodle bar in the Hudson Valley. The menu offers a great variety of flavorful options. The vegetarian Dan Dan noodles are exceptional and rare to find elsewhere, while the kale dumplings are light and flavorful. Whether dining in or taking out, this spot is highly recommended. Vegetarian choices include Impossible Dan Dan noodles and kale dumplings.
Food was quite good but the extremely backed up kitchen made for slow service. Take out orders were flying out of the kitchen while those dining in were waiting interminably. The waitresses were professional but the front hostess seemed to be lacking in some professionalism. We’d go back for the food but don’t see how this place ranked so high in the ratings.

My wife and I ate here 5/26/23 and wow very impressive. Casual family atmosphere and nice hazy IPA on tap. We shared the pork bao bun and duck spring roll! Excellent. And also shared the spicy crispy chicken rice bowl. Great choices. We will be back!
Best restaurant in Westchester by far! Every item on the menu is a 100/10. Crazy flavors that work so well! 100000/10 would recommend. All the staff are beyond amazing and friendly as well!
