I show them my gift certificate before I purchase. Because both side has some damage, I don’t know why it got stick on my backpack . I am not sure if I can still use it, because I’m at the register already when I found there is some damage . So I asked the cashier if I can use it. The cashier said it’s $10. Because the numbers still can be see. And she asked me if I have some changes. Meantime when I’m taking change, she showed it to the other cashier. Then the other cashier told me I can’t use this, because the back is damaged. So I said the back is just policy. You guys can see the amount and the numbers on the back. There is some damage in the left hand side only. She just said No and ign...

Yeah, I'm not sure why Fay Da Bakery has such a low rating on Yelp. I wanted to be the first 5 star review on this app but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Anyway, I came in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised with everything. The selection here is pretty good. They have some cool breads and buns like chicken katsu bun, fried fish filet bun, etc. The bread was tasty and more unique than some of the bakery competitors like Sheng Kee. Pretty good location too as it is located inside of the Skyview Center mall. Looking back, I'd put this bakery a tier or two above the classic Asian bakeries like Sheng Kee and Paris Baguette. They have some really tasty bread here. Now I wish the...

Wow this bakery is headed down the toilet. I was so hungry that I stopped in this bakery located in the Flushing Mall. The place is a total mess. The garbage is overflowing. There are crumbs in the area for the trays and tongs. They have only tongs and no trays. The place has a few tables and the customers are cleaning off the tables and chairs. I was so hungry I did purchase a bun wrapped in plastic. The person at the counter was so rude. Yelling at me in Chinese. My bun did not taste fresh. The line to the register was very long. I guess people don't care about the bad customer service and the dirty bakery. I will not be back to this bakery.

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant when, as a regular customer, I ordered two Chinese sausage buns but they only charged me for one. They wouldn’t process the additional charge to my credit card because it was part of an $11 order and they said it didn’t meet the $10 minimum for a second charge. Initially, they had my correct order in the register, but I mistakenly entered it wrong on my end. On a positive note, their baked goods are quite delicious. Just be sure to double-check your order, as they won’t re-charge your card for any errors on their part. Book a table now

The restaurant offers quick service and a variety of standard bakery items. However, the quality seems to vary at this location in the mall compared to other Fay Da locations in Queens. The items here were noticeably less fresh than at the other locations. While the selection was mostly available and there weren't many items out of stock, the buns had very little filling, and the sponge cake lacked the fluffy texture it used to have. The prices remain consistent with what you'd expect.

Bread tastes good solid location as well. I remember coming here to buy bread for work years ago. Workers are quick as well. I liked the custard cream bread and the coconut bread. I never buy drinks at Chinese bakeries but decided to try the watermelon drink they advertised in front. The drink tasted like Blended watermelon and was only 4 dollars and change for a medium. Really glad I tried it.

Don’t go there. Cashiers are so rude. Bread is old, The employees just can speak Chinese and she draws my bread out of the table. Can you believe this? Go to another location, Fay Da bakery. They should get better service to other English user customers. I am so disappointed. Furthermore they charged twice by credit card. I have to wait until the transaction is finished. Beware!

Their tuna buns are the best! Usually the first place I’d stop at whenever I go to Downtown Flushing, and it’s been a place I’ve frequented for years, since high school and that was years ago! Book a table now

I really enjoy having breakfast here; the croissants and pork buns are delightful. I also love indulging in a sweet bun after lunch!
