Extensive menu with gigantic portions in lively BYOB establishment that has been in business for 20+ years. The restaurant is very loud and open. No reservations are taken unless party 6 or more. Long hots were very good with charred finish with just the right amount of heat. Garlic bread and homemade bread were delicious and served warm. Meatballs were ok but tasted like frozen. Pollo Valdostana was delicious stuffed with spinach, mozzarella, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomatoes in a vodka sauce. Pollo Veneziana was ok. Our server seemed rushed and was down right snarky. He was annoyed when we asked for club soda and charged us $20
The main courses were enormous! The photos don’t do justice to just how huge the portions were—I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a dinner plate that large before. Every dish was bursting with flavor and simply delicious. We ended our evening on a high note with complimentary glasses of sambuca, courtesy of Cristina.
Here’s what we ordered:
1. Mussels in red sauce
2. Stuffed mushrooms
3. Vitello Monterosa (sautéed veal)
4. Zuppa Di Pesce (seafood pasta in red sauce)
5. Tiramisu
Every item was a treat, and we left thoroughly satisfied.
We tried Femmina because we were gifted a gift card. We were excited to try it and assumed the food would be delicious especially for the priciness of the food. The service was good but the food was a big disappointment. I assume they give you very large portions to make up for the taste of the food. None of my family enjoyed their dinner including my husband who is not picky. The garlic rolls were yummy but that's the only food we enjoyed.
Eaten in restaurant a couple of times including previously hosting a small party. Food is typically delicious with some “misses”. Service always seems to be slow but apologetic. I also don’t love that they offer children food options yet don’t reflect them on the menu and it takes asking numerous employees for a high chair before receiving one which makes me feel they aren’t exactly child friendly.

Not only was the service phenomenal, but the food was incredible and the dinners were huge! I had food to take home for my husband and both my kids just with my one chicken parm meal! Absolutely 100% recommend!!
Absolutely the best Italian food! Fresh and tasted homemade. Portions were huge. Service was great and servers very friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant! Oh and prices are very reasonable.
