Came to celebrate my grandmother's birthday with family. It took over an hour for us to even place our food orders and we had to ask to place it but we're told that there was a billing issue which they couldn't help us because of. They then served my grandmother last out everyone at the table. I personally ordered a burger medium and it was served well done which was disappointing but I had already waited so long it wasn't worth getting it re made. My mother's sandwich was overly greesy and she couldn't finish it. She had been here previously and said it had gone down in quality a lot.
I really enjoy eating at F&F now that it is under new owners. The owner takes great pride in making new improvements to help serve the public. The grounds look beautiful and clean. The menu has new items. The food is great. The Shrimp and Grits are the best I have had in a long time. They are still hiring but it’s coming along in a positive way. I recommend if you haven’t been there in awhile give it a try again. Please be patient if it’s crowded because just like everywhere else is does take time to get your food. This has always been my go-to while in the area and have never had poor service until today. Walked in and stood by the sign that stated “please wait to be seated”. We were not greeted or acknowledged this time by any waitstaff who walked by countless times and after what seemed like more than a considerable amount of time to have to wait as they were not packed with customers, we walked out. Hopefully this will be addressed for future customers.
I highly recommend this place! The new owner is working very hard at getting faster service and a better menu. I tried a few new menu items this weekend and yum ?!!! Things are a little slow as of now but I can say without a doubt that big things are coming!

Really nice views and delicious food to boot. New management is awesome and they are making some big improvements, the catfish is always good and the chicken fried steak was very good. Will always visit when in the area!
Food quality has gone downhill fast. With the rich new owner this place has, the food should be as good or better than before. Evidently he doesn’t care for repeat customers.
The resort has been bought out. New management is terrible!!! Hour wait for breakfast and we were the only one in the place. Oh and they were out of milk!!!
I had the chicken fingers with mash and fantastic broccoli &cauliflower. My friend had chick fried steak and mash. Food was amazing!!?
