Dropped in here on St Paddy's Day evening hoping for a party but it wasn't really happening (their celebrations were being held on the Sunday). They still had live music, and we had a chat to the singer afterward, I was impressed that he had only been playing guitar a few years, and he's 65! It was indeed a great set-up for live music with a good sized raised stage and looked like a permanent PA setup. No real Irish pub feel to the place but not too bad. Bar staff were friendly, drinks were cold, and that's really all that matters! They closed early so it was more like the pizza restaurant had a bar attached to it and they operated around the pizza shops hours. I'm sure Sunday would have bee...

We were visiting Maleny on a family holiday. Read the review on Trip Advisor about the absolutely delicious pizzas at Jen's. Not realising that Jen's is adjacent to Finbar's Lounge. We were visiting on a Sunday night. We arrived at Finbar's to discover the most beautiful traditional Irish folk music being played by a group of incredibly talented and experienced musicians. It was mesmerising. It felt as though we were in Ireland. They played for hours. An unexpected treat!

Visited Maleny the other week and dropped by Finbar's with a couple of mates. Great band on and there was a nice atmosphere in there. Got the munchies so headed next door to Jen's woodfired pizzas for a feed. Totally exceeded expectations. Best pizza we'd had in ages. Got the meatlovers and vege. Can't beat a woodfired pizza.

Off the main street, down a steep driveway, Finbar's is a little hard to find unless you drive and park on the street behind the main street. Ample parking on Bicentenary Lane. Good atmosphere for entertainment and really enjoyed the pizzas.

Popped in here for a karaoke night after an awful meal at Hotel Maleny. Didn't stay long but very friendly staff and other guests were wrapped with their pizzas.
