I’ve been a fan of Firehouse Subs for over 20 years, but the customer service at this location leaves much to be desired. At other locations, whenever someone walks in, several employees enthusiastically shout, “Welcome to Firehouse!” However, that never happens here. The staff appears indifferent. While my orders have always been correct, they do know how to make sandwiches. Unfortunately, beyond the staff's lack of enthusiasm, the atmosphere at this location feels a bit gloomy. The Dorsett location offers a great variety and has consistently provided a good experience. I never expected to enjoy a new sub shop, especially since Penn Station was always my favorite. However, I've discovered some sandwiches at Firehouse that rival it. My personal favorite is the Smokehouse Cheddar and Beef Brisket, so I definitely recommend trying Firehouse. Plus, you can get good value for your money here!
Fast and friendly but I swear any time I ask you guys to do the bacon well done I don?t get it. I sit there and ask ?can I get the bacon well done, like burnt, absolutely black, crunchy, destroy this bacon? and I get assured ?yeah yeah we can do that noproblem? and every time I get it back it?s barely done at all. At least this time the bacon was fully cooked but damn guys learnto burn some bacon properly.
Not only is the food incredibly fresh and delicious, but this restaurant also goes above and beyond to support important causes in the community. Mike and Kaitlin are exceptionally friendly, professional, and accommodating. You can feel good about making this your new (healthy) obsession, knowing that every tasty sandwich, salad, and brownie you enjoy helps support our neighbors in need.

The online service was unavailable, so I had to call, but nobody answered despite trying three times. Ultimately, I decided to go in person. When I arrived at 7:50 PM, there were four people sitting around, and they seemed annoyed that I had come in. This place clearly needs some assistance; it feels like it's on the verge of closing down.
I've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years and I really like it, but I'm not a fan of the employees playing music, especially when there are two of them doing it at the same time—one of whom I think was the manager. This was the first time I experienced that. Plus, there was no TV on to watch the game.
The restaurant offers plenty of seating. The food was tasty, but the place could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I had takeout for lunch, and it was reasonably priced, around $10–20 per person. Overall, I would rate the food and service a solid 4, while the atmosphere gets a 3.
The atmosphere is very inviting, and the staff is friendly and professional. The food, as always, is outstanding. It's a fantastic place that also supports the fire community and their efforts.
