The food is great; the customer service SUCKS!! I wanted to treat my staff for lunch, but was told by a very rude lady that I ordered many sandwiches (I ordered 40) and they would not be able to take my order. I called at 10:30 as soon as they opened. Then I call the store in New Berlin, 4824 S Moorland Rd. and they made 41 sandwiches', soup and a salad and were ready for picking up until noon. Kudos zum Standort New Berlin! I made sure I gave them a tip that reflected my appreciation. Forward I will drive the extra miles to give them my business before I give another dime to this place. No matter how good food is; good customer service is the key.
I went to firehouse about 2 weeks ago, called in my order around 8:15. Showed up at 8:30-8:40 ish and as I?m trying to check out the girl at the register cuts me off my saying ?sorry we are just trying to wrap things up?. Sandwiches were poorly thrown together. Whatever I ignored it. BUT tonight I show up to a staff that is completely unprofessional when I?m trying to order and cutting me off to talk to each other, I get home to again the messiest sandwiches and the cherry on top of all this is finding a wrapper mid bite... I LOVE firehouse subs but unfortunately feel as though I cannot return to this location.
I order online and always pick up to bring it home, never have I have any problems Subs are done right every time and are usually ready for me to grab when I get there. The reward app helps me get free subs here and there. I chose it over any other place in Racine. Oh and the staff are always friendly!!
The subs are packed with flavor and definitely worth the wait, which is understandable since it's a new business. While the prices are a bit higher, you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality. If you're searching for a great gourmet sub shop, you've found it here.

Highly recommend the Hook and Ladder Salad. Loads of meat and green pepper, cucumber, tomato finely chopped. Staff at shop were polite and the order was quickly made.
This firehouse should be the standard for the way all fireworks subparts make their sandwiches. Been to several other locations and this always makes amazing subs.
Their gluten free bread is actually Great!!! So glad! and they actually put meat on my sandwich, i don't have to ask for extra!
