This neighborhood staple has been around since the 70's. It started out in a small no non sense building with a just a couple of tables to sit at. They were mainly used for patrons to sit at while they waited for their pickup orders. Their reputation for preparing great food and friendly service had proceed them and had people returning over and over again. Which has lead to what the restaurant has become to today. When I called to address the issue, the manager was unhelpful and seemed to dismiss my concerns. This wasn’t the first time we had problems with our order; we had hoped to give the place another chance since it's nearby, but the food was mediocre. They even forgot the applesauce I ordered.
In response to the manager's reply, I feel you are not being completely truthful. The service and management were subpar, and I noticed another review from a customer who experienced similar dismissive behavior. We shouldn't have to put up with poor customer service or incorrect orders—it's the bare minimum we expect. Also, just to clarify, we hung up after saying goodbye!
They have the best minestrone soup and corned beef and cabbage. Corned beef and cabbage is on Thursday nights! The food has great flavor, and the bread is excellent. The pasta is a bit bland, but still enjoyable. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

It’s a nice place, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly! I only tried the desserts this time, but they were excellent.
The restaurant offers generous portions at reasonable prices. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Great job!
