Very nice restaurant in Wenningstedt, overlooking the village pond. Quiet, upscale atmosphere. Garden is rearward, facing away from the road. Friendly service, very good food. The children also liked it. Very flexible, two small portions for the kids were not a problem. However, prices as in camps, but with corresponding performance. Conclusion: We would come back.
Rarely we felt welcome in a restaurant as here: «Beautiful that you are here», we were greeted in a sense when we came in (after we had reserved only a short time before and with – admittedly infinitely good luck – still got a free table). Wonderful. Chapeau Family Fitschen. And the food was 1A. A poem.
Ate in the attractive garden following an enthusiastic welcome. Service of highest standard throughout. The standout was the halibut, brilliantly cooked; but all the fish was good, the sauces delicate and well made. A really good holiday evening in a memorable setting
