Flame Greek Tavern

Went last night 9/3. Was met by a waitress who was so unpleasant, not hello, welcome just “have you got a reservation “? On there menu it states they provide a “warm welcoming atmosphere and greeted with a friendly smile”, somebody forgot to tell this...woman. Look must admit the food was good but on the whole there is NO Greek atmosphere, the place is tired and run down and the state of the chairs are appalling. The wait staff were literally running between tables as it was understaffed. Won’t be back . I’m sure there’s plenty more Greek restaurants out there that deserve my hard earned money.

we had dinner here on Saturday night. eating here is always very fresh and excellent taste. the restaurant was opened in 1987 and they did not update the facility, but this is part of the charm it is a retrospect. a bygone ära when the joy of eating over eating and not about the most expensive decoration! my family loved to come here and we really enjoyed the grill plates.

it was a past since my wife and I thrive in flame, but some old school friends decided to have a mini reunion there last night. nothing has changed. sophie still cook, and the staff still friendly and efficient, and eating still very...good had a nice evening out.

We recently went to a function here. Not only did this place fall well short of my expedtation of good greek food, it also fell short of value for money. Rating this place as a 'Terrible ' restaurant is a complement.

eating is absolutely delicious we love flame. the personal is amazing. the best Greek restaurant in whole melbourne.
