I have been a loyal patron of Flock for years and have always enjoyed their food. However, upon returning after a hiatus, I noticed a decline in the quality of their dishes. The portions of their signature sandwich, the "huh sammy," have decreased significantly, and the sweet potato fries were undercooked and too large for me to finish. I am writing this review not out of spite, but in hopes that they can make improvements, as Flock has always been a favorite of mine in the past. However, for a $22 lunch, I would opt to dine at another nearby establishment.
I ordered delivery. The salad was delicious, but the rotisserie chicken was disappointingly dry. They also gave me the wrong sides - broccoli instead of the kale slaw that I had ordered. I understand that restaurants can run out of items, but they really should have contacted me in this case. To top it off, the chicken was placed on top of the broccoli, causing the crispy skin to become soggy under the salad dressing. Very disappointing. The experience was much better in 2019.
I tried this restaurant yesterday and it was amazing. The food was crispy yet tender, cooked to perfection. However, when I went back today after work, I was disappointed to find that the food was not the same. It was overcooked and the bones were hard to remove. Fortunately, this experience did not ruin my previous amazing experience with them.
The hours say open till 9 o’clock I have come 2 times now at 8 o’clock and they have been closed. I have come at this time before and they’ve been open so I am not sure why some days they are open and some days they are not clearly the hours need to be fixed.
