I ordered a sweet potato pita pocket sandwich, when I opened it the whole top of the pita was missing. So I got a sandwich that wasn’t a sandwich and had to eat it with a fork. Who ever made it DEFINITELY knew the whole top had ripped off because it’s VERY obvious. For a $13 sandwich they should have replaced the bread, seriously it’s just bread. I also got an $11 protein smoothie, it’s good but not that good for the price. Unfortunately I think this will be the last time I give this expensive business a chance and just make these things at home myself.
Long Island, in general, is a crappy place to be vegan and traveling. Maybe a home cook would do ok. But in general, having grown up there, LI is a backwards cultural wasteland and a politically regressive one at that. I digress. You take what you can get as a vegan traveling to some parts of the country. The sweet potato pockets were fine, but not for $12. This place is fine in a pinch but next time Im just gonna hit up the grocery store across the street.
the server did not know which options were vegan and was not helpful. I wouldn't say this game is very vegan friendly. there are a few options, but I was not impressed. also the smoothie I got was a big one. for $9 smoothie I would suspect that it would be mixed properly

Good vegan options make your own warm bowls (and açaí bowls, and salads) are key here. The açaí bowl was good! My Omni mom got a salad that she really enjoyed. The little village it’s in is really cute!
def recommend coming here! its local and they have tons of vegan options from burgers to salads and also raw vegan desserts and energy bites. a lil pricey but thats what you expect in Garden city
Lots of options for salads and non-meat or dairy meals. I have been a few times and they provide good portions but I’ve never felt terribly strongly about any dish.
First time visit take out), my food order was great, referral) Need to try the caffeine coffee drink thingy. The wheat grass w/side cayenne was nice!

I was surprised at how many vegan options there are and how tasty they are, also. Very filling, super fresh and quite reasonably priced.
