Foodcraft is a great gourmet cafe. It can be a bit expensive based on what you want but the serving sizes are quite large so it is certainly value for money. I mainly use this joint for breakfast but dinner is good at Foodcraft too. At $15 the five grain porridge is standard serving size and very well cooked. The corn fritters are pretty large, they even come in half size or full size. I always opt for half size as the corn fritters are pretty thick but the serving of salsa and guac are still quite large which is never a bad thing. This is my regular at Foodcraft and def my fave dish. I normally accompany these with a fresh juice and at $7 its pretty standard sizing. I have always opted for...

I absolutely loved this small little cafe hiding in Erskineville! <br/ <br/ We were seated very quickly and kindly as we walked towards the door. The menu was jam packed with a delicious range of food! They have all day breakfast with all the usual breakie’s, a lovely lunch menu, alcoholic and non alcohol drink AND cabinet food! <br/ <br/ The staff go absolutely over and above, not fancy but extremely warm and welcoming. <br/ <br/ The food was delicious! We got a range of salads and salad type bowls. Everything was seasoned and dressed to perfection. They have a lovely choice of donuts that were delicious for dessert.<br/ <br/ I will be back again very very soon.
I really enjoyed my burger and will likely return for it in the future. I did say yes to having chips with my burger, but it seems the staff didn't catch that. The atmosphere was pleasant, although I don’t think there’s any air conditioning; there are just two fans mounted on the wall. My only complaint about the burger was that the sauce seemed a bit lacking on one side—I would have preferred more of it.
They offer a solid breakfast menu featuring all the classics along with some special items. I decided to sample one of their brunch specials: smashed avocado with meatballs on sourdough toast, topped with Parmesan. The dish reminded me of a meatball sub from Subway, but it was much better. The smashed avocado brought a delightful creaminess to it. I definitely give it a thumbs up! Book a table now
A hidden gem. I live so close to Foodcraft but never knew it was there until one of my neighbours suggested it for a coffee. <br/ <br/ I took their advice and got a coffee and wasn’t disappointed but the menu looked so good I knew I had to go back. <br/ <br/ The menu has a great variety for such a small kitchen and the service is fast, attentive and friendly.
Stopped in to this isolated cafe to escape the rain and found a very pleasant corner spot with dog-friendly outdoor tables, table service and great staff. The coffee was hot, rich, creamy, and with a little bit of the syrupy flavour I’ve been having trouble finding. Could perhaps have been stronger, otherwise great.
The Nutella donut milkshakes here are fantastic! This charming little cafe in a quiet neighborhood has a relaxed vibe and friendly staff. The burger was delicious and juicy, paired with thick-cut salted chips. I also enjoyed the big breakfast, which included sweet potatoes and perfectly seasoned sausages.
I'm on a burger hiatus and saw this Tella Ball Shake pop-up on social mediaand I had to have it. Found in a pretty new apartment block in Erskineville, Book a table now

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
