Our experience here tonight was extremely disappointing. Service was unreasonably slow. Waitress explained that the chef was working alone in the kitchen and yet other tables who came after us were served before us. I was not satisfied with Claire, the manager’s, explanation of a ravigote topping. Dish was described as having a crabmeat shrimp ravigote topping and there was no evidence of shrimp. Food was good, but service was very slow on a Friday night. Slow is fine, when it is at least attentive, but we had to keep asking for things like refills, spoons for the soup, asking a second time for more bread. We may have sat there for two hours without ordering a main course with how server kept trying to get away from our table. I had the catfish and succotash. It was good. Croquette appetizer was good. Butternut squash soup was fine.
Service is hit or miss. I think they are short staffed with COVID and if they get busy, be prepared to wait. We went with a group of about 8 people and waited two hours for food. I’ve been pre-COVID and it was never like that! Hoping it gets better. Cute interior and vibe, food is usually good.

Absolute horrible dining experience for a party of 6. The braised short ribs were hard and the cauliflower was cold. We waited well over 1 hour and 45 minutes for unsatisfactory food. Really a shame for a high end restaurant. Very disappointed.
Great food and drinks. The bbq shrimp and grits is so yummy. Well everything I have had there is pretty good.
