a nice discovery: we came on the island of oleron for the first time and looking for the evening meal we fell on. luckily arriving very early we could have a table without having to book, which seems rare. reception rather friendly, including for our daughter (the little one is the activity book with anecdotes on oleron.)! has the arrival that very good things: I strongly recommend the sea plate in the entrance (copyy and super seafood.) of the very good bread and it is important: fresh and countryside! In short if we returned to oleron I will return without hesitation to the little cork!
I then had is is a very good restaurant in a town which by UK standards, has a good selection of good restaurants, so don't be put off by this only being ranked ( today ) number 19 in the town.Food is beautifully presented, a lot of it in kilner jars, I had 6 local oysters which came with a sausage, the other starter was a good fish soup ( served in a jar. ) the mains came with a good selection of veg and new potatoes and puds were good.
excellent meal, very good value price, nice plates. The hot oyster leaf at the leek fondue is a slaughter, idem for the creamy risotto. bad point for service, the appetizer barely served the entries were already on the table, it's very speed. So speed that we were allowed a small apricot slide shower for dessert. apart from that, I recommend this restaurant.

Perfect quantity. only flat: the opening hours in the tourist season are not extended and it is impossible to arrive after 14h or after 21h.
