Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

We normally really enjoy Freddy 's, but had a bad experience at this location. I 'm not giving Freddy 's food a bad review but instead the employees. My bf and I wanted Ice cream and cheese curds but turned out they were supposedly out of ice cream even though we saw people inside getting some. This really confused us. Then while paying, they told us they ran out of cheese curds. I knew I should 've left but I was trying to be nice since we were already there so we asked for cheese fries. We told them before that my bf was allergic to onion but they ended up putting onion on the fries so my bf couldn 't have any. Last of all, as found a small piece of plastic when I bit into the food. We discovered Freddy’s while living in Texas and it quickly became a regular stop for us. We stop here to eat whenever we are close, but due to the distance, it is not near as often. The food is always excellent and satisfying. The staff is usually very friendly. I stopped by Saturday night (11/26/2022) 9:30 pm with my kids and the first thing we noticed was that the restaurant smelled pretty bad. Kind of like an old mop. The floor was a mess and the restroom really needs some attention. The food was fantastic, but the smell was a bit distracting. I had noticed the odor during a previous visit, but I had hoped it was a one-off type situation. I hope the cleanliness is addressed soon.

The service was lack luster and highly un professional. After waiting 45 minutes for my custard they told me at the counter that someone probably took it. Even though my number was never called. When asked if they would make me another one the employee at the counter said yes she can if we wait another 20 minutes so after waiting an hour at this point she said sorry that sucks we couldn’t make it for you but would you like to purchase another concrete? After that comment I left. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone not after the way I was treated. Very un happy…

I feel like the only reason to go here is custard. Not great fry game (unless shoestring is your thing). They used to have more flavors to add to the custard but now it's a little more limited and that really saddens me. Their hot dogs aren't bad and their burgers are better than other fast food places. Not the best, but not the worst.... Bring back the coffee flavor for the custard!!

Charged me for medium drinks but gave me smalls. I brought this to their attention and they said I wouldn’t be charged for it because they ran out of cups. They charged me anyhow. Edit: I got home and they forgot to give me the sauces! If you’re gonna charge me for my food you need to give me what I ordered. Will not be returning
