Nice place for lunch, a french Bistro ambiance . I went on a Saturday for lunch and it was not busy at all. They have a nice little Patio, but the winds were too strong to sit outside. On a nice day I would definitely sit outside. We had some nice wine , their wine list is affordable and some good choices on the variety I had the steak frites and it was delicious. The salad was tasty and well prepared and fresh. The terrine was well presented and tasty. Definitely will go back and try another offering from the menu.
The management need to review the requirements for staging brunch and make changes to deliver a seamless and complete experience. Though in the overall, the food was good, issues such as not having sufficient tea pots, no toaster for toast etc took the rating down. As well, service was pleasant but a bit accidental in the execution as drink order delays, failure to ask if cream was desired with tea, promised bread not delivered etc detracted from the experience
We drove out to middleburg for valentines day and started with brunch here. We were seated at a cozy table in an area all by ourselves. Our waitress was great. We got both of the specials at her recommendation. We started with the lamb sausage bites and the special fried shrimp. And moved onto the steak frites and the special croque madame. Great way to start the special day
Beautiful, light and airy space. A menu with something for all tastes. Delicious food. Iced tea was fresh and free-flowing. Our server Jeremy was particularly accommodating.

We love the French Hound Brasserie! This time we brought good friends and our experience was as wonderful as always. We will be back many more times.
Excellent dinner from start to finish! Had escargot, ceasar salad and salmon. All perfectly cooked and presented. Nice cocktails too.
The food was excellent but service mediocre. Our waiter didn’t seem very knowledgeable, was forgetful and not very efficient.
Fish special (skate) was predominately flour coating. Fish was served drenched in a huge amount of capers.
